Diane Lagroix (née Cléroux)

C'est avec tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de madame Diane Lagroix (née Cléroux) survenu le 5 mars 2024, à l’âge de 74 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Joseph Cléroux et de feu Ida Lavergne. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Michel ; ses enfants Lucie (Bruno), Marc et Suzanne (Anders) ; ses petits- enfants Olivier, Vincent, Samuel, Théodore, Clément et Louie; son arrière petit-enfant Ludovic; ainsi que sa sœur Nicole (Denis) et que plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-sœurs. 

Outre ses parents, elle est partie rejoindre : sa fille Marie-Angèle, ses sœurs Claire et Anita et ses frères Aimé, Roger et Roland.  

Une cérémonie religieuse aura lieu mardi le 12 mars 2024, à 10h30, à l’Église Notre-Dame de Lourdes, située au 435 Montréal Rd. La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 10h. Un goûter sera servi, suivant la cérémonie, à l’église même.  

Vos témoignages de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Société Alzheimer du Canada.  

La famille désire remercier toute l’équipe du CHSLD La Pietà ainsi que Guylaine Therrien, infirmière en soins palliatifs à l’hôpital de Hull.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Lagroix (born Cléroux) on March 5, 2024 at the age of 74. 

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Cléroux and the late Ida Lavergne. 

She is dearly missed by Michel, her husband of almost 54 years. She is survived by her 3 children Lucie (Bruno), Marc, and Suzanne (Anders), as well as her grandchildren Olivier, Vincent, Samuel, Théodore, Clément and Louie and great grandchild Ludovic. She is also survived by her sister Nicole (Denis) and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. 

She was pre-deceased by her daughter Marie-Angèle, her sisters Claire and Anita and brothers Aimé, Roger and Roland. 

The funeral will be held at the Notre-Dame de Lourdes Church, 435 Montréal Rd. Ottawa, on Tuesday, March 12, at 10:30 am. The family will receive condolences starting at 10 am. A lunch will be served, following the ceremony, at the church itself.  

As a mark of sympathy, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.  

The family would like to thank the CHSLD La Pietà team and Guylaine Therrien, palliative care nurse at the Hull Hospital.
