Born in Buckingham, she would spend most of her life there. She was a lifelong member of St.Andrew's United Church, and for many years volunteered at the Boutique at the Buckingham Hospital. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, and a good friend to many. She saw the good in everyone and everything, and found happiness in the simple things in life.
The ten years she and Pete spent in the logging camp at Pine Lake and in Mont-Laurier were very special to them, and anyone who knew Mom and Dad were treated to many a story of those years.
Mom faced many battles in the last two and a half years with grace, spirit and determination, rest in the peace you so richly deserve, we love you.
